Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What is this all about?
East, West and Beyond (EWB) is a one-day seminar which aims to enlighten the audience on the significance of past and present events in East and West and their effects on world civilisations. Also, the speakers will share their thoughts and experiences on how the youth today should act to make a better future.

2. When and where is it?
The event will be held in th University of Birmingham, on the 5th of December 2009.

3. How many days the event will be held?
It is a one-day event, starting 9.30am till 7.00pm. Registration and free breakfast giving will start earlier at  8.30-9.30 am. Don't miss it.

4. Do I have to pay for attending this course-event?
The whole seminar is free of charge. Plus, you will get free breakfast, lunch and light dinner as well.

5. How could i get to the venue if I came outside of Birmingham?
You can simply board a train from the Birmingham New Street Railway Station to the University Station. If you come a day earlier which means you need a place to stay overnight, please contact any of your friends in Birmingham, easier if you could find a place in Selly Oak since it is close to the university. Lucky enough, we have many Malaysians students living in the university area. They would gladly allow you a place to stay a night or two in Birmingham. Just make an early arrangement though.

6. Is this event for Muslims only?
It is open to everyone (Muslims or non-Muslims) who could understand Bahasa Malaysia or English.

7. How can I register for this event? 
Simply log on to www.ewbbirmingham.blogspot.com and click on Register tab at the top left on the blog. Be quick since the place are limited (120 person). The registration will be closed early of December.
